It’s as messy as the world around us.

Yes, the movie is a visual marvel unlike any other, a mammoth testament to the human imagination, but it also packs an emotional wallop behind those beautiful, beautiful images. West is currently considering a fourth film in the acclaimed Mia Goth-led series, but soon enough, we can enjoy Waggoner’s stab at the universe. Whether Pearl returns in film or novels, the more of this cinematic, deeply referential horror series, the better.
Ridley Scott returns to the colosseum for swordplay and rhino action in the second trailer for Gladiator II, which is due out in November. The filmmaker has called the long-awaited sequel one of his best movies in his career, as well as teasing one of the biggest action sequences he’s ever directed. The sequel to the Best Picture winner continues to raise expectations.
“Coming of age story, crime drama, sprinkle of hip-hopera, and a dash of horror” all come together in The Chinatown Diner. ounds like a fine recipe for a compelling independent film, which is co-written, co-edited, and directed by Lawrence Le Lam. He’s assembled quite a snazzy cast for the film, including Alien: Romulus standout, Aileen Wu, and one of the powerhouse actors from Warrior, Olivia Cheng.
