Any movie starring Ariana DeBose these days automatically goes on a must-see list. The Academy Award-winner and Tony-nominated talent, known for West Side Story and Hamilton, is a great artist starring in an upcoming horror movie from Prime, titled House of Spoils. The film is directed and written by Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy.
There’s plenty of depictions of the culinary world these days in film and television, possibly in small part due to The Bear‘s success. A horror film about a chef’s journey, however, is more than welcomed. The Blumhouse production features cinematography from Eric Lin (Hearts Beat Loud), production design from Alexander Schaller (After Yang), and costume design Ola Staszko (Cold War). There’s an impressive team in front of and behind the camera here, making House of Spoils a promising upcoming horror film from Prime.
House of Spoils is available to stream October 3rd.
