Diane Warren is one of the great songwriters. She’s written nine #1 and 33 top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. Back in 2001, she was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2001. These accomplishments barely scratch the surface of her career, which has earned her a Grammy, an Emmy, an honorary Oscar, two Golden Globes, and 15 Academy Award Nominations.

Accolades aside, she’s penned classic songs, the kind that play a role in the soundtrack of lives.

For her long list of accomplishments, she’ll receive the ITTV International Forum and TechInEntertainment award for her career and work on “Weightless,”which is the first song to be released as an immersive video experience. The song, which is performed by Arilena Ara, uses V-Nova PresenZ. Developed by V-Nova, it’s 6 Degrees of Freedom (6DoF) immersive experience. Viewers to move freely within a scene, like they can be inside of a song.

“Diane Warren is an undeniable icon in music. Her ability to merge profound emotion with innovation has defined her decades-long career,” said Valentina Martelli, CEO of ITTV and TiE. “Her contribution to ‘Weightless’ exemplifies her forward-thinking approach, bridging music with immersive technology.”

Earlier this year, Warren was nominated for an Oscar for writing the very feel-good tune, “The Fire Inside,” performed by Becky G for Flamin’ Hot.
