Christmas just ain’t Christmas without John Waters. The beloved author, filmmaker, and performance artist is hitting the road again for his annual holiday show, “A John Waters Christmas.” Expect further coverage of the must-witness event at Immersive Media.

The filmmaker behind Cry Baby, Hairspray, and Polyester is a true showman, on and off-screen. To add more holiday cheer to the year, Waters is also releasing a vinyl for his cover of The Singing Dogs’ “Jingle Bells,” which is produced by Grammy-winning Ian Brennan. “In producing John’s annual Christmas tour for over twenty years, it seemed almost negligent that he didn’t have a Christmas record,” Brennan said in a statement. “Everyone from U2 to Justin Bieber to William Shatner to Bob Dylan does, and John’s wit couldn’t be a more fitting cheer for the annual holiday music canon.” The vinyl edition is available to pre-order and comes out on November 8th.
