A24 and filmmaker Ti West aren’t done telling stories with Pearl and MaXXXine. The studio and director behind the X trilogy have teamed up with author Tim Waggoner on novelizations of the well-received horror trilogy. Waggoner is a four-time Bram Stoker Award-Winning writer behind “Writing in the Dark: The Workbook” and the upcoming “Terrifier 2” novelization.
Since West’s movies were soaked bloody with homages and nostalgia, paperback novelizations is a logical next step for the series. “X: The Novel” is now available to purchase, “Pearl: The Novel” comes out in November, and “MaXXXine: The Novel” is due out in 2025. Unlike some products in the A24 shop, the novelizations aren’t too expensive. “X: The Novel,” which features lovely cover art from Matt Ryan Tobin, is available for $18.
