It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no – it’s a critically acclaimed documentary about the life, work, and legacy of Christopher Reeve. The upcoming doc comes from directors Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui, known for McQueen. Based on the first trailer for the film, titled Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story, get ready to grab tissues for tears of pain and joy.
In addition to his iconic performance as Superman, Reeve gave several fantastic performances still standing the test of time. Revisit Remains of the Day or re-experience the delight of Sidney Lumet‘s adaptation of Death Trap. He’s particularly wonderful in the latter film.
Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story will play in theaters on September 21st and 25th for a limited engagement.
