Emilia Pérez is the latest film from Jacques Audiard, director of A Prophet, Rust and Bone, The Beat My Heart Skipped, and Palme d’Or winner Dheepan. Audiard’s films are visceral and emotional rollercoasters that are not only thrilling experiences. He manages to surprise each time with new themes and concepts.

The director’s latest, Emilia Pérez, was a sensation at this year’s Cannes, winner of the Jury Prize and the historic Best Actress award shared by leads, Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Karla Sofía Gascón, and Adriana Paz. A must-see film and certainly a contender for this year’s awards. It’s a “musical epic” that Netflix acquired at Cannes with upcoming screenings at TIFF and NYFF.

In Select Theaters November 1st and streaming on Netflix, November 13th.
