The Property Masters Guild came together the other night for their inaugural MacGuffin Awards. At the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, property masters in film and television were celebrated for their artistry. The prop work in movies and shows such as Oppenheimer, Poor Things, The Bear, and The Last of Us were among a few of the accomplishments highlighted.
PMG’s Lifetime Achievement Award, as well, was awarded to Emily Ferry. For decades, the property master helped create classic films and worlds, including The Right Stuff and Addams Family Values. She was the first female property master in the film and TV industry. Here’s a list of the winners from the MacGuffin Awards:
