Eddington is the latest film from Writer/Director Ari Aster, his second with Joaquin Phoenix who plays a small town sheriff. The film also stars Pedro Pascal, Luke Grimes, Deirdre O’Connell, Micheal Ward, Amélie Hoeferle, Clifton Collins Jr., William Belleau, with Austin Butler and Emma Stone.
This is the latest from Writer/Director Wes Anderson. It is his 13th film and his second with Benicio del Toro, who plays Zsa-zsa Korda, one of the richest men in Europe. The film also stars Mia Threapleton as Liesl, his daughter/a nun, and Michael Cera as Bjorn, their tutor.
DiCaprio is one of the last true movie stars and has an enduring presence as the lead in many original, non-franchise films for over 30 years. Anderson’s career is almost as long, and he is similarly a genuine filmmaker who never ceases to be compelling.
