This is the latest from Writer/Director Wes Anderson. It is his 13th film and his second with Benicio del Toro, who plays Zsa-zsa Korda, one of the richest men in Europe. The film also stars Mia Threapleton as Liesl, his daughter/a nun, and Michael Cera as Bjorn, their tutor.

It is the story of a family and a family business. As with any of Anderson’s films, little is known at the outset; you just enjoy the ride. The film also features many great talents, including Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Mathieu Amalric, Richard Ayoade, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rupert Friend, and Hope Davis.

Here is the trailer:

Anderson is one of the most wildly original filmmakers in the world; anytime one of his films is released, it is cause for cinephiles to rejoice.

Focus Features Will Release The Film on May 30.
