Padma Lakshmi is officially working on a new cooking competition series. She previously hosted and executive produced 19 seasons of the mega hit Top Chef, which earned her five nominations for hosting; the show was nominated 47 times during her time on the Bravio series. Now, she’s teaming up with CBS and former NBCU content chief, Susan Rovner, to produce and host a new cooking competition series.
No doubt, a major hit is in the works.
The untitled series hails from Lakshmi’s Delicious Entertainment and Rovner’s Aha Studios. Rovner is largely responsible for major hits such as The Traitors and Poker Face. In other words, the duo are a powerhouse team behind award-winning, major hit shows. They might just make the hit, award-winning cooking series CBS has been seeking for sometime now.
