Which film is poised to make the holidays better? Robert Eggers‘ remake of Nosferatu, which he spent years trying to get off the ground. Finally, the filmmaker behind The Lighthouse and The Northman got the green-light and assembled a terrific cast, including Bill Skarsgård, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, and Willem Dafoe.

Check out the latest Nosferatu trailer, teasing the December release date:

If anyone wants to get a better sense of what Eggers is cooking up here, Focus Features has released the first two tracks of Robin Carola‘s highly-anticipated score, titled “Goodbye” and “Increase thy Thunders.” The tracks are now available to stream.

Horror, especially in the sound and makeup department, is grossly overlooked during awards season. Hopefully, Nosferatu will prove to be an exception. It looks like a crafts team dream picture.
