Warner Bros. is celebrating Turner Classic Movies’ 30th anniversary. Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood and TCM have teamed up to provide visitors of the Burbank lot a beefed up tour through the Golden Age of Hollywood. It’s a celebration of classic movies on TCM, as well as a spotlight on the Warner Bros. library.  A studio tour not to miss.

The TCM Classic Films Tour is three and a half hours of movie history featuring 90 minutes with an expert Tour Guide followed by self-guided experiences. Brace yourselves for stories about the making of Blazing Saddles, Casablanca, Giant, and The Music Man, to name a few titles highlighted.

Guests will see the exterior of James Dean’s apartment where he once lived on the lot; the serene rose garden, where Jack Warner’s tennis court was; and the legendary Eastwood Scoring Stage, which was built in 1929. Most promising of all, the tour features Property House. It has over a half-million television and movie props.

Some of Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group’s top brass, Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy, expressed their excitement. “For 100 years, Warner Bros. has stood for the very best in moviemaking and TCM has continued to spotlight the legacy of the studio with incredible program offerings throughout its 30 years,” the duo said in a statement. “We are thrilled movie lovers from around the world can visit the iconic Burbank lot to experience the TCM Classic Films Tour and celebrate the rich history of the studio’s contributions to cinema.”

Ideally, this tour will turn more eyeballs toward TCM, which now features curated films from Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese and Paul Thomas Anderson. “The partnership with TCM solidifies our commitment to providing unforgettable entertainment experiences to our guests,” said Danny Kahn, Vice President & General Manager of Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood.  “The TCM Classic Films Tour is a natural fit for the Studio Tour.  TCM showcases and preserves beloved classic films, and the Studio Tour offers our guests the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Hollywood legends and connect with their beloved titles.”
