The second stage of aging of old age makeup with a healthy face was tricky, and the stage scene because I knew the audience would be able to compare both sides at the same time you want to do cool prosthetic makeup, but you don’t want to make it too obvious. You want to blend with the face because you are building up with the prosthetics, but at the same time, you see the other side of the face which is not wearing any prosthetics. That’s hard. So there is a balance.

The SAG Awards® announced the nominees for the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® honoring outstanding stunt, individual, cast and ensemble performances for the past year. The 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®, produced by Silent House Productions in partnership with SAG-AFTRA, will stream live globally on Netflix Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall.

The Gotham Awards is one of the ceremonies to kick off awards season shows. It’s a bit of a teaser of what’s to come. The nominees are decided by critics, film journalists, and industry professionals. A few of this year’s nominees include Anora, Baby Girl, and Sing Sing. Thankfully, The Gotham Awards honors some fantastic work in horror this year as well, nominating Demi Moore’s transfixing performance in The Substance as well as director Jane Schoenbrun’s imaginative storytelling in I Saw the TV Glow.

“It came together because I wanted to keep doing movies the way I love to make them in the genre area, which is for me, the best way I can express myself in a creative and and free way. You don’t have the limits of reality. You can create your codes, and your own rules to tell your story, and you can go as far as the Brundlefly, and everything to express to meet the violence of what I wanted to say about the theme.”
