Run Lola Run is cinematic hypnosis. Posters for Tom Tykwer‘s film covered arthouse cinemas in the early 2000s and beyond for a reason. Despite the splash the hit movie made upon its release, many of the film’s hardcore fans watched it on home video. Now, some of those fans will finally have a chance to experience one of their favorite movies on the big screen.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original US release, Sony Pictures Classics is reissuing a 4K restoration of Run Lola Run in select theaters.

In short, the crime film plays with time as Lola (Franka Potente) races against the clock. However, that logline doesn’t begin to cover even the broadest strokes of “Run Lola Run.” It’s a philosophical thriller, where arthouse and popcorn cinema converge. The questions match the stakes and grand visuals; it’s simply a breathless, 80-minute experience not to be missed on the big screen.

Experience the magic of Run Lola Run again on June 7th.
