Filming will begin next year on The Gentlemen season two. Guy Ritchie will return to direct, as well as produce and co-write the crime series with Matthew Read. Main cast members Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, and Daniel Ings are confirmed to reprise their roles in the Emmy-nominated show.
Netflix has ordered eight more episodes of The Gentlemen, based on the Guy Ritchie film of the same name. No word yet on whether Ray Winstone, Vinnie Jones, and Joely Richardson will return as well, but they were key characters, so we expect to see them back and relishing the dialogue and scenery.
The Gentlemen was a playful, good time of a crime show. Ritchie’s instincts were spot on with a game cast. Not only that, the series had a terrific sense of style.
