At a ceremony hosted by Ross Matthews, the GLAAD Media Award winners were shared. Winners included The Last of Us, Rustin, Yellowjackets, and the crowd-pleasing RuPaul’s Drag Race. One of the top winners was also Red, White, and Royal Blue, which is now available to stream on Prime.
Another notable winner is filmmaker Emma Seligman‘s Bottoms, which won Outstanding Film. A well-deserved win for what’s destined to become a cult classic. An all-around biting, visceral dark comedy that should’ve gotten more recognition during last year’s awards race.
Shoutout to the great country artist, Orville Peck, as well, who received the Vito Russo Award, which was presented by Jennifer Lawrence.
